Scientific Content Manager | Technical Writer | Chemistry & Life Sciences Content SEO, Whitepapers, Technical Articles & Digital Campaigns

Ultimately, I enjoy taking complicated ideas and making them easier to understand.

Most of my career has been spent creating content for technical audiences, particularly in chemistry and the life sciences, but the part I enjoy most isn't necessarily the science itself (although I do love it dearly); it is working out how to explain something clearly and accurately in a way that resonates and is genuinely useful. Whether it's a white paper, technical article, website, or campaign, I like turning dense information into resources that people find accessible and, ideally, enjoyable!

Most recently at MilliporeSigma / Merck KGaA, I worked closely with marketers, product managers, subject-matter experts, and designers to develop content supporting global B2B marketing initiatives. My work spanned technical articles, product launches, landing pages, web optimization, email campaigns, and other digital marketing endeavors. I also regularly used analytics to understand how audiences were actually engaging with content, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform future content decisions.

Prior to transitioning into content, I worked in analytical research and quality control, which gave me a strong technical foundation and taught me how to ask good questions, think critically, and communicate with precision. Those skills still shape the way I approach writing today.

I am interested in content management, content strategy, web content and optimization, SEO, and copywriting roles where I can help people understand complex products, technologies, or ideas. While my background is rooted in science, I'm always eager to explore new industries, new subject matter, and new experiences.
